Group Swim Levels
Aquatics Manager reserve the right to move your child to the correct class based on skill level and safety.
If you answer NO or Unsure to ANY of these questions register for LEVEL 1.
Can your child enter the water unassisted?
Can your child create arm and leg movements in the water?
Can your child submerge their face in the water?
Can your child blow bubbles?
If you answer NO or Unsure to ANY of these questions register for LEVEL 2.
Can your child complete 10 head bobs?
Can your child float unassisted 5 seconds front & back?
Can your child push off the wall and swim front and backwards using their arms and legs?
If you answer NO or Unsure to ANY of these questions register for LEVEL 3.
Can your child complete a front and back crawl?
Can your child complete a front and back glide with kicks?
Can your child do motions of the elementary backstroke?
If you answer NO or Unsure to ANY of these questions register for LEVEL 4.
Can your child swim do rotary breathing in the water?
Can your child do movements of the sidestroke and breaststroke?
Can your child tread for 1 minute?
If you answer NO or Unsure to ANY of these questions register for LEVEL 5.
Can your child swim all types of strokes?
Can your child float/tread for 2 minutes?
Can your child complete a surface and knee dive?

SWIM LESSON POLICY
1. Swim Lesson Instructors are allowed to move the swimmer to the designated level.
2. Information about the swim sessions will be given out on the first day of class.
3. Each person must exit the facility after swim lessons and re-enter for open swim.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Classes can be cancelled for weather and other conditions. Due to the limited days in a session, we do not do makeups for missed classes due to personal schedules.
SWIM LEVEL CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
If your child is advance but not of age for a level, please register for the correct level based on your child's age. Arrive 15 minutes early on day 1 to be tested.
Level 1: Swimmers will learn to head bob, arm and kicking motions, and assisted front and back floats.
Level 2: Individuals will learn how to do front/back floats unassisted, front and back glides, jumping, and front crawl movements.
Level 3: Participants will learn the front and back crawl, elementary backstroke, backstroke, and intro to side stroke and breaststroke.
Level 4: Swimmers will complete the sidestroke, breaststroke, intro to dolphin kicks and butterfly arms, and breathing.
Level 5: The class focuses on breaststroke, sidestrokes, butterfly and types of dives.
