The hours of operation are Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m.-Noon and 1:00 p.m.-4:30 p.m., our office is closed on major holidays.

All program and event cancellation and transfer requests must be received 7 business days before the activity starts and submitted in writing via email to recreation@libertyville.com. All refunds will be given, less a 15% cancellation fee. A confirmation receipt will be emailed once completed. Requests made less that 7 days prior to the start of the activity will require program supervisor approval. No refunds will be issued once a program or event has started.

Libertyville Recreation Department makes every effort to avoid canceling classes. However, to operate efficiently, programs must have a minimum number of participants at least two business days before the class start date to avoid cancellation. If a program is cancelled, participants are notified prior to the start of the program, and a full refund is issued.

Although you may have a Libertyville mailing address, if you do not pay taxes to the Village of Libertyville you will not receive the resident rate.

Yes, non-residents can participate in all of our recreational programs and events. There will be a non-residents (NR) fee charged for certain programs.
